Hello hello….Sorry for not updating you! We can explain, honest! Here are a few reasons…..

OCN Accredited Training Centre – Yes we have! We are now able to offer courses that will contribute towards a future in Further & Higher Education. Our first official OCN candidates were participants of the Coleraine Community Partnership & Youth Justice Agency. This was a seven week programme engaging teenagers who have experienced the judicial system and are at risk of reoffending.

25th Anniversary Halloween Procession – Derry – In conjunction with The Playtrail, Inside Art & students of Foyleview School, we composed “The Firebird Samba” soundtrack with 12 primary school students with severe learning difficulties. This served as the soundtrack to 60 costumed children as part of the 2011 Halloween Parade. We look forward to working with the very talented students of Foyleview in the future. Too many good good vibes to pass up!!

Radio Shouts – Acoustic or Electronic, our tutors will turn their hand and ears to anything. Gareth and Chris McGrath have penned the title track to a children’s drama on Highland Radio. Justiy has been I Dropping on I102-104 with great success. Not satisfied with that, his attracting the ear of Kissy Sellout. Next up, could Bounce be hitting the digital airwaves?? Who knows!!??

Sounding Board – IFI Cross Border Project – Lisnaskea, Belleek, and Grange: We explored DJ technology, starting with cd decks, worked back to record decks and finished off with some music making, as you’ll hear, here!!. Two groups, two sessions two tunes, four hours, RESULT!! Everyone was a winner.

NEW – DJ Music Making – We’ve been doing this for a while but thought we’d make it official now! This is our almost brand new and bass heavy courses digging deep into the art and craft of making YOUR SOUND. Whether you are familiar or unfamiliar with the sequencing packages of Reason Logic, Abelton, Cubase, or the DJ software Serato and Traktor, our tutors have you covered.

Our priority is to nurture a passion for music through Education, Investigation and ‘Hands On’ Participation. The BBC, The Guardian, The Observer, NME, our GCSE Curriculum Design and over 10 years in the Music Industry says we’re onto something!

The DJ has been part of Music’s fabric for over 100 years so we believe its time we dug a little deeper towards the roots of this movement! Our unquenchable thirst to incorporate new technologies into music gave birth to Dub Reggae, Disco and Hip Hop, leading to House, Techno and Drum ‘N’ Bass. Live Bands, Film Directors and Weddings to the Opening Ceremony of the Athens Olympics, all have used our skills. Books, Magazines and thousands of articles have been dedicated the world of the DJ.

Even the English language has felt the affects of our movement!! It is safe to say the DJ is here to stay!

Our site will guide you through our bOUNCIN DJ Courses, Personnel, Projects and Services. Upcoming Events, whether during a School Day, a Youth Club Evening or a Weekend Night, will also feature on this site. After all, our bOUNCE gigs are where it all began, responsible for bringing our course tutors together and continues provide us with the up to date experiences we’re only to pleased to share with you!!
